Supporting dignity and independence across Kelantan
We started Esivalto Tolemas because we saw a real gap in how elderly and disabled individuals receive care in our community. Too many families were struggling to find support that actually understood their needs.
What began as a small operation in Kubang Kerian has grown into something we're genuinely proud of—but our focus hasn't changed. We're still about providing practical, respectful assistance to people who need it most.

Built on real experience with real people
We started this work back in 2019 after seeing how difficult it was for families to manage care without proper support systems. The options available weren't meeting actual needs—they were either too clinical or too informal.
Our approach developed from listening to what families told us they needed. Not what we thought they should want, but what would actually make their daily lives more manageable.
Over the years, we've worked with hundreds of families across Kota Bharu and surrounding areas. Each situation taught us something new about how to provide better support. We've adjusted our methods countless times based on feedback and outcomes.
Today, we operate with a team that understands the cultural context of care in Kelantan. That matters more than most people realize when it comes to making clients feel comfortable and respected.
What guides our work every day
These aren't just nice-sounding words on a website. They're the principles our team actually uses when making decisions about care.
Respect for autonomy
Our clients make their own choices whenever possible. We're here to support decisions, not make them for people. That means sometimes slowing down and listening more than we talk.
Family partnership
We work alongside families, not around them. Your input shapes the care plan because you know your loved one better than anyone. We're here to add expertise, not replace your judgment.
Community connection
Care doesn't happen in isolation. We help maintain relationships and connections that matter to our clients. Staying part of their community makes a real difference in quality of life.
Clear communication
No jargon, no assumptions. We explain what we're doing and why in straightforward language. If something changes, you hear about it directly from us—not through hints or implications.
Flexible adaptation
Needs change, sometimes quickly. Our approach adjusts as situations evolve. What worked last month might not work today, and we're ready to modify our support accordingly.
Practical focus
We care about outcomes that actually improve daily life. Can your family member move around their home more safely? Do they feel more comfortable? Those are the measures that count.
How we actually work with clients
Every situation is different, but our process follows a consistent pattern that's proven effective over the years. Here's what you can expect when working with us.
Initial conversation
We start with an unhurried discussion about current challenges and what support might look like. This isn't a sales pitch—it's us learning whether we're actually a good fit for your situation.
Assessment visit
One of our team members comes to see the living environment and meet the person who needs support. We look at practical considerations: mobility, safety concerns, daily routines, and personal preferences.
Customized planning
Based on what we've learned, we develop a specific support plan. This includes schedules, methods, and backup arrangements. You review everything before we proceed—nothing happens without your agreement.
Gradual implementation
We don't rush the start. New care arrangements take time for everyone to adjust to. We begin with shorter sessions and build up as comfort levels increase and trust develops.
Regular feedback cycles
Every few weeks, we check in formally about how things are going. What's working well? What needs adjustment? This ongoing dialogue keeps the support relevant and effective.

Our commitment to meaningful support
We've been doing this long enough to know that good care isn't about following a script. It's about paying attention to what matters to each person and family we work with.
The families we serve come back to us—and refer their friends—because we deliver on what we promise. No elaborate guarantees, just consistent, respectful support that makes daily life more manageable.
Experienced team
Our staff has worked in elder and disability care for years, with ongoing training in best practices.
Local understanding
We understand Kelantan's cultural context and how it shapes appropriate care approaches.
Transparent methods
We explain our approach clearly and adjust based on your feedback and observations.
Consistent availability
When you need to reach us, we respond promptly. Care situations don't follow office hours.
